Bob Susong, founder of MailCo USA

MailCo USA began operation in 1988 as the first and only professional lettershop and presort bureau in the area. Bob Susong, founder, began his mailing career in Bartlesville, Oklahoma as a young man returning home from the army. He began his career as a clerk, but was rapidly promoted through the ranks to assistant postmaster. He later moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma to serve that city as postmaster for six years. In 1978, Susong relocated to Fayetteville to serve as postmaster for this growing city. He retired from the post office in 1987 to open MailCo USA. At that time, MailCo USA had only three employees working out of a small rental building on Township Street. The company soon became known for outstanding customer service and low cost mailing and business service solutions. The community’s banks, churches, and schools all began to enjoy the benefits of stress free, cost effective mailing.

As the company grew it became necessary to update our facilities. In 1994 we began construction on a new company owned building located on Fayetteville’s Drake Street. We also continued to increase our close ties with area USPS, expand our customer base, update our equipment, and add staff. In July of 2006, MailCo USA once again outgrew their plant, and built and moved to our new state-of-the-art facility. At three times the size of the building on Drake Street, our current location now employs over 30 people. With this continued growth, one thing has remained constant - our principles of honesty, efficiency, and service. Many of our customers and staff have been with us for over 20 years. At MailCo USA, we hope to continue our service to you and the rest of the Northwest Arkansas and River Valley communities for many more years to come.
